Master Plan

Descending through the site, the architectural language shifts to accommodate multi-level hotel rooms, arranged in a dense yet thoughtful composition. Despite their compact arrangement, each room is afforded a magnificent view, creating an inviting connection to the outdoors without compromising privacy. Below these, the resort unfolds into a series of experiences—an infinity pool that merges visually with the horizon, and charming eco-container cottages nestled amidst lush greenery, offering a novel yet intimate escape.

At the heart of the resort, a central garden captivates attention with its organic rock formations, providing a tranquil space for reflection and relaxation. This core garden anchors the project, drawing guests in as they explore the resort’s cascading levels. The site, taking full advantage of the slope, is carefully divided into layers, each with its own identity. From the top, a cafe welcomes guests, followed by a restaurant, a marriage hall, and a series of deck areas, all tiered like slices, each benefitting from uninterrupted views of the surrounding landscape. This terracing not only maintains visual harmony but also imbues every space with its own character, ensuring no element overshadows the other.

At the lowest point of the resort lies a grand open-air amphitheater, envisioned as a venue for music festivals, cultural performances, and large gatherings, further enhancing the site’s community appeal. Beyond this, the design flows down to the ghat area, where guests can immerse themselves in the surreal beauty of the Varasgaon backwaters. Here, the 180-degree views reach their zenith, offering a meditative, almost spiritual connection to the landscape.
