Neeti Developers Office

A mindful renovation of a Residential Bungalow into a modest Corporate Office for Neeti Developers. The brief was to design this G+3 building into two parts where the lower 2 floors were to be the branch of a very reputed private Bank & the upper 2 floors would house the headquarters of the Clients’ own firm.

The façade has been treated by Vertical Fins on all the sides, similar to the concept of an engine grill. It acts as a protective barrier from the external elements and at the same time acts as a self-shading device which cools down the façade. This design has very little to no dust accumulation due to the orientation of the Fins as well as cutting down the cost of maintenance of the external wall façade.

This is used in combination with a Glass Curtain Wall starting from the Terrace level and wrapping like a ribbon and continuing to the First-Floor façade, to create a visual drama and emphasize the double height conservatory. The simple concept behind its use is that of air pressure created due to the heating of this curtain wall façade which makes the used hot air rise & escape through the ventilator on the roof, in turn being replaced by fresh cold air. Sustainability being the most important part of our design the Terrace has been partially covered by a roof housing the Solar Panels, which supplies the electricity for the whole building making it net-zero.
